Casa de los Chiqueados is a fabulous place. The staff, especially Rosa and Jose Luis, are exceptional. Rosa is there 6 days of the week and is always willing to help. She goes above and beyond to do her job. I spent most of my time on the beautiful roof top. It is so peaceful up there. My apartment is well appointed and each apartment is uniquely decorated. I travel a lot and stay in apartments most of the time. I must say the kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I have ever had. I have never needed anything that wasn't in the apartment. I don't cook....but if I did I would only need food and my spices. The apartment is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. I will return to San Miguel and will definitely stay at Casa de los Chiqueados.

Superb location with extraordinary amenities. Stay ready and able to please any weary traveler with only the best. If I didn't have to meet up with old friends, I would never step out of the complex here. Delightful to the eyes and all the senses. I will return.

I arrived at San Miguel for the first time and had the best experience ever! I was so excited to get out on the street to see the beauty of San Miguel but Diamante almost made me stay in for the whole trip! The installation was peaceful and comforting with the amazing decoration, colonial feel and the amazing private terrace, i was introduced to amazing staff that were both helpful and as friendly as can be, they also made me feel as if i was if i knew San Miguel like the palm of my hand, they were sooooo helpful when it came to getting around and telling me the place to see, eat, go out, and the list goes on! I wish trip advisor had a rating higher than "5", i have never experienced such amazing service combined with amazing installations in an extraordinary city. The next time i go to San Miguel Casa de los Chiqueados will definitely be the place where i will stay!

Casa de los Chiqueados is a wonderful property in San Miguel I rented the Esmeralda unit for April, one bedroom, large bath, seating area with fireplace big screen TV and a miniature full kitchen. The decor is amazing, Christina did an incredible job. It is really a beautiful property. Quite convenient and there were police all around and on the street everyday for those that are nervous about Mexico. The Jardin in about a 12 minute walk, the artisan market less than 10 minutes away and lots of great restaurants near by. I also was luck enough to have wonderful "casa mates" I met, we might meet for a glass of wine and conversation on the beautifully appointed roof terrace or just go roam around. The property owners Gary and Christina are awesome. The best place of its type I saw while in SMA.

I recently spent 5 days with some of my closest friends to celebrate my birthday in San Miguel de Allende at Casa de Los Chiqueados. Anxious and cautiously guarded, I half expected to see some enormous disparity between what we imagined based on photos provided and the actual property. That quickly dissipated upon arrival. Beautiful, comfortable, luxurious and, most of all, safe are the words I would use to describe the experience. Thank you!

We are staying in the Esmeralda suite. It’s so nice you don’t want to leave the room. It was filled with flowers and the decoration was incredibly done, elegant and comfortable. But when you do venture out you are just a couple of blocks away from the center of city. It’s an amazing place and we wish we could stay forever. The people, the shops, and the endless wonderful restaurants and cafes. And romance in the air everywhere. We will be back as soon as we can, and we found our new favorite place to stay when we are here.
