Casa de Los Chiqueados is the gold standard for any vacation hideaway. The casa consists of different suites, all appointed with the finest furnishings and elegant details. The casa caretaker, Jose Luis, was so helpful and kind. All the staff were exceptional, gracious and so welcoming. They took care to help with anything we needed. The Casa is located on a very quiet street in an elegant neighborhood right in the center of town. You can easily walk to all the top locations and shopping areas. The owners provided a beautifully detailed guide to the premises, as well as all the info you could want on necessities and the area. We arrived and had beautiful fresh flowers and a bottle of good wine awaiting us. We can't say enough good things about Casa de los Chiqueados and it's fantastic owner, Christina Ruckel.

Spent three fantastic months at Casa de los Chiqueados, September through November, in the Topaz unit before returning home to Honolulu. The entire property is stunning! The décor and decorations are beautiful and demonstrate much thought in their selection. The Topaz unit is a two bedroom and two bathroom unit. Besides being beautifully furnished, it is extremely comfortable with great bedding. The staff are amazingly attentive. The owners, Gary and Christina, are the perfect hosts and always eager to make certain that your needs are met. We love San Miguel and are so appreciative of the time that we were able to spend at Casa de los Chiqueados.

I arrived at San Miguel for the first time and had the best experience ever! I was so excited to get out on the street to see the beauty of San Miguel but Diamante almost made me stay in for the whole trip! The installation was peaceful and comforting with the amazing decoration, colonial feel and the amazing private terrace, i was introduced to amazing staff that were both helpful and as friendly as can be, they also made me feel as if i was if i knew San Miguel like the palm of my hand, they were sooooo helpful when it came to getting around and telling me the place to see, eat, go out, and the list goes on! I wish trip advisor had a rating higher than "5", i have never experienced such amazing service combined with amazing installations in an extraordinary city. The next time i go to San Miguel Casa de los Chiqueados will definitely be the place where i will stay!

Our third visit to San Miguel, first time in Casa Max, a great location. This house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, obviously designed for the comfort of their guests. Jose Luis, the property manager, met us when we arrived and provided all of the information we needed throughout the month. Christina and Gary are most gracious hosts. We particularly liked the neighborhood with a couple of restaurants and a grocery store very close. All on one floor so no suitcases to carry upstairs, but a beautiful rooftop terrace for naps, lunch or afternoon drinks. If you love art, you will love this house!

Our stay in Apartment Topaz at Casa de los Chiqueados was wonderful. We traveled as two couples and the apartment was beautifully appointed with great amenities (Queen beds in both bedrooms, 2 private baths, fully equipped modern kitchen, wifi). There is a roof top sitting area with fireplace which was perfect for enjoying coffee and watching the hot air balloons float by in the morning, and sipping wine as the sun set in the evening. Jose Luis, the property manager, was a joy to work with, both prior to and during our visit in helping make dining, tour, and shopping reservations. Rosa, the delightful housekeeper, made sure that apartment was well taken care of and stocked each day. Would love to return again soon.
