Having stayed in many rentals in SMA over the years, we were unexpectedly delighted with Casa Max. Having so many books to choose from made for some very enjoyable afternoons on our terrace. This is not your typical rental, but more of being a guest in a private home. Also loved all of the original artwork, much of it from the owners private collection.

Casa de los Chiqueados is a unique place, it's a exquisitely decorated house with few rooms -about six- that has no lobby or reception. When you arrive, the very efficient and really nice manager of the house, José Luis, is waiting for you to give you your set of keys and the guided tour to what becomes from that moment on, your house. The attention is really personal and full of lovely details: chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the fridge, a full fruit bowl, a bottle of wine, a very useful tip book with phones, addresses, taxi numbers etc. personally written welcome cards by the owner of the house and even homemade cookies for the 4th of July! Rosa, the housekeeper is super discreet -you never know she is there- but keeps the place and your suite, perfect. The roof is a big plus, a lovely place where you can bring your wine and have a nice read, rest, chat, whatever. The laundry room is stocked with very current movies for the blu-ray in your room, and board games, oh and you get WiFi and cable. It's the perfect stay in a lovely city. I'd say A+! Absolutely loved it!

Thank you so much for making Diamante available to us. This apartment was excellent in every respect; bed, art, shower, furniture, books, movies, etc., and your choice of kitchen appliances made the stay extra special. We enjoyed cooking, and with the market so close, the kitchen you supplied made it a perfect visit. Definitely, more important for us is your staff. We have stayed in Atascadero, Ojo de Agua, San Antonio, Centro, etc., of all these places no manager can come close to Jose Luis, no words can express the most caring professionalism he personifies. Rosa is also at the top. She kept our apartment spotless and provided other special tasks. Marco the gardener is a very nice man, always in good humor. Because of these people and your caring for us with perfect choices of apartment appointments and appliances we look forward to returning. Once more Jose Luis is great!

Our stay at Casa Maggie and Casa Max was the BEST family vacation ever! Having both units allowed us all to be together but to still have our own space too. If home for you is security, luxury, convenience, kindness and opulence, Casa de los Chiqueados is home. I stayed five months and instantly felt like I was accepted as family by Christina and Gary, the owners, being included in their home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. The property is situated in el Centro, convenient to every location in the city, yet is inordinately quiet, even serene. The top floor terrace is ideal for entertaining, complete with a grill, sink, and romantic fireplace.There is a telephone with free service to the U.S. and Canada for long distance calls. Rosa, the housekeeper and property onsite person, became my family, and Jose Luis, the property manager, is genuinely concerned with addressing any and all of your questions and needs. You will be spoiled for any other residential experience in SMA once you have stayed at Casa de los Chiqueados. Plus the price vs. what is offered defies reason. You will not second guess or regret your decision to choose Casa de los Chiqueados for your accommodations when you visit SMA.
