I recently spent 5 days with some of my closest friends to celebrate my birthday in San Miguel de Allende at Casa de Los Chiqueados. Anxious and cautiously guarded, I half expected to see some enormous disparity between what we imagined based on photos provided and the actual property. That quickly dissipated upon arrival. Beautiful, comfortable, luxurious and, most of all, safe are the words I would use to describe the experience. Thank you!

A beautiful property located in Centro close to many, many great and extremely reasonable restaurants. A 600 year old town with cobblestone streets unlike anything else in Mexico which offers a standard 20 peso cab ride ( $1.20) anywhere in town. Safe place with very friendly locals. The Owners are amazing hosts and their Manager Jose Luis is always there to help with literally anything you need.
Plenty of activities including golf, horseback riding, shopping etc.
My best review is that we are already booked for our fourth visit and we have traveled the world and this is our favorite.

Located within a short walking distance to the heart of San Miguel, this property provides all the amenities and extravagance that only five star properties can. The units are decorated with talent; providing the cultural feel that is so unique and enjoyable about San Miguel.
Returning to our beautiful nests at the end of extremely enjoyable days in this beautiful town was very relaxing. From the comfortable beds to the roof top terraces with views of the city, these accommodations please your senses and will definitely have us going back. Casa de los Chiqueados is a fabulous place. The staff, especially Rosa and Jose Luis, are exceptional. Rosa is there 6 days of the week and is always willing to help. She goes above and beyond to do her job. I spent most of my time on the beautiful roof top. It is so peaceful up there. My apartment is well appointed and each apartment is uniquely decorated. I travel a lot and stay in apartments most of the time. I must say the kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I have ever had. I have never needed anything that wasn't in the apartment. I don't cook....but if I did I would only need food and my spices. The apartment is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. I will return to San Miguel and will definitely stay at Casa de los Chiqueados.

Casa de los Chiqueados is a beautifully appointed and comfortable casita. The rooftop terrace with a grill offers beautiful views. The kitchen is very well equipped. Both bathrooms are large with lovely showers. The Casa de los Chiqueados is centrally located so easy walking distance to outstanding restaurants and activities. There is much to do in San Miguel. The people are friendly, happy, and helpful. The owners, Christina and Gary, were delightful, supportive, and gracious. You will love this magical place!
