This was my second year staying at Casa de los Chiqueados, and both my visits can be summed up with one word--Perfect. I stayed in a different apartment this year and it was well appointed and excellent in every aspect. Clean, plentiful amenities, comfortable bed and excellent internet. Of course, things like this just don't happen on their own. José and Rosa make sure that everything works and the needs of the guests are well taken care of. If you're looking for a great place to stay in SMA, and this is your first stop on your search, look no further. This is the place you want to stay.

This was our first visit to SMA and it ended all too soon. We scheduled a 6 day visit but could have stayed 6 weeks or longer. The property owners live nearby and provided first class service in all aspects. We did not require anything above the numerous amenities already provided in the unit, but the owners personally checked on our well-being to ensure we fully enjoyed our time there.
So much stress trying to decide when to return next. Everyone should have this problem.

Casa Maggie provided the perfect ambiance for our recent stay in San Miguel. Having the restaurant El Rinconcito a few doors down was perfect as we had appetizers and cocktails delivered nightly to enjoy our private terrace with its amazing views. Owners Christina and Gary have thought of everything and it shows. Great attention to detail!

We had a fantastic stay in Casa Max, the sister property to Chiqueados. The warm and welcoming property is a duplex in the heart of the city with two spacious bedroom suites, cozy living and dining fully stocked kitchen and great private upstairs outdoor terrace. The decor is just beautiful, we did not want to leave. We really appreciated the high speed internet, welcome basket and binder about everything going on in San Miguel. They even had bathrobes in the closets for us. We arrived late in the evening and the property manager came out to let us in, much appreciated! We highly recommend this property and would stay there again anytime.

Casa de los Chiqueados is a perfect location only steps away from everything in centro San Miguel. You feel like you are living with the locals. It is perfect! Christina the owner helped us with everything and the unit was stocked with food we selected upon arrival. She introduced us to Jose Luis who is the property manager and he has been fantastic for any information or needs you may have. There are 6 units behind the discrete outside street entrance and we are in the Topaz which is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit with the living room and kitchen/dining area in the middle. We are so comfortable in this unit we have actually cooked many meals on our own verses going out. It is very secure and Rosa and Marco take care of the property and the clients with tender loving care. I highly recommend you check out Casa de los Chiqueados or the other property on the other side of town owned by Christina.

My husband and I visited San Miguel de Allende for our honeymoon and had the best time! We stayed in the Diamante residence of Casa de los Chiqueados. When we arrived, there were fresh flowers placed in the rooms, a bowl of fruits and fresh, homemade guacamole prepared in the fridge. The decoration and furniture in this place are amazing. The housekeeper kept the place spotless all week and even did our laundry without being asked to. The owners, Christina and Gary, were so friendly, attentive and hospitable. They made sure we knew how to get around town and gave us lots of advice and ideas of things to do in San Miguel. We can't wait to go back and stay here again!
